Simple Tip: Relationships Make The World (and Your Business) Better!
This should be somewhat obvious if you're a human. But in your defense it can get easy to get wrapped up in your business and get away from little things going on around you so I'm going to point it out as a lil' business tip.
Build relationships for your small business with everyone you come in contact with - especially REGULAR contact. The "UPS guy" isn't just the "UPS guy" for example. Our "UPS guy"'s name here at our studio is John - he's a good dude, works his tail off and seems to really like his job. He is actually coming to my band's gig tomorrow night. He just poked his head in to tell me that two minutes ago even though he didn't have a package to deliver to us.
Relationships make the world better and they'll make your business better. Plain and simple.
If you haven't bothered to learn the names of the people you come into regular contact with, resolve to do it by the end of the decade. You've got 35 days.
